Aviation
The Aviation Division supports law enforcement from the sky. The Sheriff’s Office currently operates two helicopters—an OH-6 and an OH-58—originally military aircraft but now used for public safety in Harrison County.

Supporting Law Enforcement from the Air
How We Help:
- Search & Rescue: Assisting in locating missing persons.
- Crime Response: Tracking suspects and supporting deputies on the ground.
- Public Safety: Monitoring traffic, emergencies, and large events.
Our Advantage:
The helicopters are equipped with search lights, cameras, and radios, giving deputies an aerial view that improves response times and safety. This support is available at no cost to law enforcement agencies in Harrison County and surrounding areas.
